Patrick Mahomes was the nation’s leading passer at Texas Tech last season, throwing for 5,052 yards and 41 touchdowns for the Red Raiders. His performance prompted the Kansas City Chiefs to trade up and select Mahomes with the No. 10 pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Even in a Chiefs uniform, he’s still tossing touchdown passes.
Mahomes provided multiple highlight plays of the Chiefs’ 30-12 preseason win over the Bengals on Saturday night. Near the end of the first half, he found Demetrius Harris in the back of the end zone for his first touchdown pass of the day.
He tossed another touchdown pass early in the third quarter, this time to De’Anthony Thomas.
